‘The document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official’.
‘The White House document that contained Mr. Trump’s comments was based on notes taken from inside the Oval Office and has been circulated as the official account of the meeting. One official read quotations to The Times, and a second official confirmed the broad outlines of the discussion’.
‘Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, did not dispute the account’.
“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said.
“I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”
‘Mr. Trump added, “I’m not under investigation.”
You can’t ‘lead’ the World when they are now openly laughing at us……

‘Russian President Vladimir Putin said he “would be willing to provide the U.S. Congress a record of President Trump’s meeting with top Russian envoys, possibly offering new details on the disclosures of reportly highly classified intelligence information,” the Washington Post reports’.
“The remarkable offer for the Kremlin to share evidence with U.S. oversight committees came with the caveat that the request for the transcript would have to come from the Trump administration.”
The National Security Advisor just admitted that the President was sharing information with 2 Russian agents that he, the President had no idea where it came from or it’s meaning.
Then why did he have it?
Who should have briefed him?
The President just shares information with Russian agents without knowing where it comes from?????????
With a ‘friend’ like Trump…..who needs enemies……..
‘The president’s decision to “share” intel with Russia is landing with a thud in Europe’:
‘The big story: A “senior European intelligence official” told the AP that his country, which was not identified, could stop sharing information with the U.S. to protect its sources’.
‘One named quote: German lawmaker Burkhard Lischka told the AP it would be “highly worrying” if the story was true, adding such behavior would make Trump “a security risk for the entire world.”
‘Why it matters’:
‘That’s right – Trump demands that briefings be cut down to one page and presented in easy-to-read bullet points, and he still can’t be bothered to read them’.
‘More via The Washington Post’:
“U.S. officials said that the National Security Council continues to prepare multi-page briefings for Trump to guide him through conversations with foreign leaders, but that he has insisted that the guidance be distilled to a single page of bullet points — and often ignores those”.
“He seems to get in the room or on the phone and just goes with it, and that has big downsides,” the second former official said. “Does he understand what’s classified and what’s not? That’s what worries me.”
