With many humble thanks, I must decline.
I simply do not have the time. This is not the first time I have been asked.
I’m sure that sounds rather petty or arrogant. By ‘not having time’ I mean that I don’t have the time to research and post 15 other Word Press bloggers. I read more then that but how do I decide between #15 who ‘makes my cut’ and #16 who doesn’t?
Again it may sound petty or arrogant but my opinion really isn’t that important.
My ‘blogging’ is my informing myself in the morning. I use the internet to gather news and when I come across an interesting story, I c&p it to a notebook.
I consider what the story means or how it would impact me and find an image to convey that feeling.
I don’t actually write a blog so much as I c&p a blog.
It’s why I don’t consider myself a very good blogger.
I’m just passing on a bit of news and hopefully people will think for themselves.
As to why I don’t have time….10 years ago I moved in next door to my parents to ‘help out’. I’m the ‘good son’. My Dad passed away shorty after that from cancer and now my Mom is 96 and although very independent, requires ‘care’.
A nursing home or even retirement home would drain our finances and besides we weren’t raised to ‘warehouse’ our parents.
So not to put too fine a point on it, my time is taken up with something much more important then blogging.
Again, many, many humble thanks but I must decline.
