Making America A Laughing Stock – ‘Trump says ‘nobody really knows’ if climate change is real’

The Trump Doctrine – “Just Make Stuff Up”.

‘In an interview with “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace, Trump said he’s “very open-minded” on whether climate change is underway but has serious concerns about how President Obama’s efforts to cut carbon emissions have undercut America’s global competitiveness’.

“I’m still open-minded. Nobody really knows,” Trump said. “Look, I’m somebody that gets it, and nobody really knows. It’s not something that’s so hard and fast. I do know this: Other countries are eating our lunch.”

‘The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change concluded that it is , since the 1950s,“extremely likely”  that humans and their greenhouse gas emissions have been the “dominant cause of the planet’s warming trend’.

‘The top 10 hottest years on record have all been since 1998, and 2016 is expected to be the hottest year since formal record-keeping began in 1880’.

  1. Read two things today. Methane is up more than the scientists expected – this is likely from burning more natural gas and venting unused gas directly into the atmosphere. The other is from a letter to the editor who described climate change believers as a cult. Let’s see 97% of scientists, every major science organization and 195 countries does not make a cult. Cults are small sects of fanatics.

    • THe methane report really scares me. Methane traps 4 times the heat vs. CO2. But it’s also a catch 22.
Most of it comes from food production and waste. Growing populations need food.
There is not polite way to say this but uncontroled population will be the death of us.
Foor and water wars are now just a few decades away if that long.

      • When asked how many people can the earth sustain, a scientist during a Ted Talk said it depends. If we consume like the average Rwandan it could support 15 billion, but if like the average American it would be under 3 billion. We have about 7 billion now.
