1. ‘Flynn Wrote a Book on Defeating ‘Radical Islam’ & Once Said He Was ‘At War With Islam’

‘Flynn published a book on July 12 called “The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies.”

“I’ve been at war with Islam, or a, or a component of Islam, for the last decade,” Flynn once said, according to Al-Jazeera’.

‘He’s also trashed Iran, saying, “I could go on and on all day about Iran and their behaviour, you know, and their lies, flat out lies, and then their spewing of constant hatred, no matter whenever they talk,” Al-Jazeera said’.

‘He also told Al-Jazeera: “We are at war with a radical component of Islam and the way I believe it is that Islam is a, is a political ideology based on a religion.”(1)

‘Flynn has also said that he thinks the fight against extremist groups requires a long-term effort. While he was still in uniform, he told CNN’s Evan Perez that the problems in the region defied quick-fix solutions, saying, “We’ve got to be very careful that we’re not looking for the headline.”

“We have to start thinking about what is this place going to be like, you know, 10 years from now, 20 years from now,” he added’.

‘Trump, however, promised in April that ISIS would be vanquished “very, very quickly.”(2)

My Life WIth Cats

imgp1017

Baby Baby Baby, have to think of a better name, is probably 12 weeks old.

A 12 week old kitten can take care of it’s self.
Bathe, eat most foods, play by its self and with others, etc.

Baby Baby Baby just this morning ran for the first time.
I am serious.
She has waddled before but never ran.
Saw me sitting in my ‘office’ and ran all the way across the living room, into the ‘office’ and climbed up the chair (still climbs like a mountain climber, one paw – set, the paw – set, the other paw – set) got to the top, made the small jump to the desk and proceeded to walk over the keyboard, pat the pen off the desk, sneezed snot into my coffee and bit some paper sitting on the printer.

And later she found some cables to chew on.

Still hasn’t bathed herself.
Kind of played by her self last night.

Some people found her curled up in the corner of their garage. They waited a day to see if the mom would come get her. When she didn’t they called the vet and he me.

She was abandoned too early.
Skin and bones – literal – skin and bones.
Diet wise she switched over to semi solid food with no problem.
Then to boiled chicken to give her a protein push.
And today am switching her back to pate canned cat food – the good stuff – Iams.
But still circles her plate 3 or 4 times before settling in on where to eat.

The rest, bathing and play are both natural and learned practices.
The other cats I have while older, do bathe in front of her and play and even play with her.
A little rough but that’s normal for older cats to show the younger one who is dominant.

I’m still hopeful that she will learn from the other cats – more natural – but if not, I’ll be her ‘mom’ and continue to teach her.

All in all, this is the most…..I won’t say work but rather intensity that I have ever had to put in.
But seeing her now, that is a huge reward.
