  1. So, the position he is advocating will have a series of 4-4 ties until into next year’s judicial season. That is a waste of a lot of money and a disservice to justice. But, let me play to McConnell’s political side. If Trump wins the nomination it is possible the GOP will lose either or both of its senate majority and presidency campaign. His best chance to barter may be now.
