How Stupid Are Republican…..Oh…..THIS Stupid – ‘Chris Christie Proposes Tracking Immigrants the Way FedEx Tracks Packages’

Here’s the immigrant you ordered…….

‘Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey said on Saturday that if he were elected president he would combat illegal immigration by creating a system to track foreign visitors the way FedEx tracks packages’.

WTF

“At any moment, FedEx can tell you where that package is. It’s on the truck. It’s at the station. It’s on the airplane,” Mr. Christie told the crowd in Laconia, N.H. “Yet we let people come to this country with visas, and the minute they come in, we lose track of them.”

‘Mr. Christie did not say specifically how a system would track people the same way packages are tracked by FedEx, which scans a bar code on the package at each step of its delivery’.

  1. The white were illegal immigrants who then shut the door: the Munroe Doctrine (1823), removed Southeast Amerindians and started believing they were Saviors to the entire world: Manifest Destiny.

    • The Manifest Destiny is being revived in American Exceptionalism and adding Nationalism and Isolationism which were popular in the early 1900’s.
Something about not learning the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them……

      • It’s rather discouraging.

      • Yes and no.
In a very real sense our politics is in a race with climate change.
We are a rich nation given that we can grow a huge amount of food. Climate change will put a huge stress on that production.
At the same time, the wealthy and corporations taking more and more, profits, resources and labor and letting the last two simply fall to the wayside when they (the corporations are done with them) is putting a stress on what’s left of the middle class.
        That’s the depressing part.

The exciting part is not if but when(and it has to be before the rapid fall in food production) the middle and poor raise up and actually ‘take their Country back.
Keeping the foundation of the Constitution but getting rid of the influence peddling.
