One of the things that gives me pride in being from Washington State is our 2 US Senators – Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray.
When conservatives speak of the ‘liberal news’ they are usually referring to ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC.
To Liberals, MSNBC has been a joke for years especially starting the day with ‘Morning Joe Scarborough’.
Basicly it was just FOX as JOE shouted down everyone to the point the rest of the crew, usually Liberal, just sat on their hands.
No change to Morning Joe but the weaker ‘beat a story to death’ daily shows are gone.
‘MSNBC has formally decided to cancel three programs — “The Cycle,” “Now with Alex Wagner” and “The Ed Show” — as part of a larger effort to shift its daytime lineup away from opinion programming, network sources told the On Media blog on Thursday’.
And the (cough) good news?
‘In September, MSNBC will add a 5 p.m. program hosted by “Meet The Press” moderator Chuck Todd, while Brian Williams, the former “Nightly News” anchor, will serve as the network’s breaking news and special reports anchor’.(1)
So this should improve FOX ratings.

7 Years of ‘Birtherism’ isn’t contempt?
And THIS wasn’t contempt?
‘The Party of No: New Details on the GOP Plot to Obstruct Obama'(1)
Republican George Will – “The best reason for rejecting the agreement is to rebuke Obama’s long record of aggressive disdain for Congress…..”
How about 47 Republican Senators.…..ignoring any and all historic diplomatic efforts, by pass the President and send a letter to the Leaders of Iran saying they won’t honor whatever is signed.
That wasn’t contempt George?
Record filibusters? That wasn’t contempt?
‘An Open Letter to the Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran’:
‘It has come to our attention while observing your nuclear negotiations with our government that you may not fully understand our constitutional system. Thus, we are writing to bring to your attention two features of our Constitution — the power to make binding international agreements and the different character of federal offices — which you should seriously consider as negotiations progress’.
‘First, under our Constitution, while the president negotiates international agreements, Congress plays the significant role of ratifying them. In the case of a treaty, the Senate must ratify it by a two-thirds vote. A so-called congressional-executive agreement requires a majority vote in both the House and the Senate (which, because of procedural rules, effectively means a three-fifths vote in the Senate). Anything not approved by Congress is a mere executive agreement’.
‘Second, the offices of our Constitution have different characteristics’.
‘For example, the president may serve only two 4-year terms, whereas senators may serve an unlimited number of 6-year terms. As applied today, for instance, President Obama will leave office in January 2017, while most of us will remain in office well beyond then — perhaps decades’.
‘What these two constitutional provisions mean is that we will consider any agreement regarding your nuclear-weapons program that is not approved by the Congress as nothing more than an executive agreement between President Obama and Ayatollah Khamenei. The next president could revoke such an executive agreement with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time’.
‘We hope this letter enriches your knowledge of our constitutional system and promotes mutual understanding and clarity as nuclear negotiations progress’.
Sincerely,
A group of old white men showing contempt for the black guy who was elected twice by people that aren’t ‘real Americans.
