How Republicans Will Govern – HATE, FEAR and LOATHING – ‘Kansas Republicans Strip LGBT Workers Of Anti-Discrimination Protection’

gay rights

‘Never underestimate the power of right wing bigotry. It’s the core of their ideology’.

‘Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback (R) on Tuesday unilaterally rescinded rules that had protected state workers from discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation’.

‘Brownback said an anti-discrimination order issued in 2007 by then-Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D), should have been done through legislation’.

“This Executive Order ensures that state employees enjoy the same civil rights as all Kansans without creating additional ‘protected classes’ as the previous order did,” Brownback said in a statement’.

“Protected classes”. So everyone does’t qualify for ‘equal protection under the law”?

“Any such expansion of ‘protected classes’ should be done by the legislature and not through unilateral action. The order also reaffirms our commitment to hiring, mentoring and recognizing veterans and individuals with disabilities.”

“I destroyed Kansas’ economy and everyone is SUPER pissed off at me so I’ll do some loud gaybashing to make my bigoted base happy”.

  4. I find this outrageously ridiculous. The far right white America is forgetting that these laws could be used against them. Those same laws could be used by all the other ethnic and religious groups to exclude them from society as well.

It is a shame no one taught them to treat everyone like you would like them to treat you.

  5. Ironic that faux-Christians like him cannot accept God’s people and love them, as Jesus did.
