Republicans – Still Saying Obama “Isn’t One Of ‘Us” – Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America’

giuliana obama

The constant drone that President Obama is really ‘one of us’.

The New Republican Party – Making us afraid of…..’them’.

NEW YORK — ‘Rudy Giuliani went straight for the jugular Wednesday night during a private group dinner here featuring Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker by openly questioning whether President Barack Obama “loves America.”

Rudy Giuliani says hre’s “not questioning the President’s patriotism”…..

Except he is….

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan’.

“He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

“All it takes is one good guy with a…..pencil….” – ‘Huckabee on AR-15s: ‘A Pencil Is An Assault Weapon If You Poke It In Someone’s Eye’

‘Last month, Mike Huckabee gave a talk on his new book, “God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy” at the church he attends in Florida, the Destiny Worship Center’.

‘As an example of how New Yorkers are ignorant of true American culture and “think we’re crazy,” Huckabee recounted the tale of how he humiliated a New York media elitist Fox News staffer during a debate about guns by suggesting that a pencil is just as much an assault weapon as an AR-15′:

“I’ll never forget sitting around with my own staff at Fox News, New Yorkers all, and something came up about guns and they were saying about how ‘nobody should ever own an AR-15, there’s just no reason to own an assault weapon.’ And I said, ‘Every weapon is an assault weapon, a pencil is an assault weapon if you poke it in someone’s eye.’ Then I really shocked them when I said, ‘AR-15s, I got several of them.’ They were scared to death, I thought they were going to dive under the table, I really did, it was like they were, ‘He’s a psychopath.’

Blog Running – ‘This Is What Republican Governance Looks Like: One Man’s Frightening Agenda’

balance budget

‘Amid depressed turnout and pent-up frustration with the Springfield status quo, Illinois voters last November ousted Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn, awarding billionaire venture capitalist Bruce Rauner a five-point victory’.

‘The five weeks since Rauner took office as Illinois’ first Republican governor in a dozen years have offered a vivid illustration of the truism that elections have consequences — consequences that will be paid disproportionately by the state’s poor, working class, and middle-income citizens’.

‘Rauner called for an 11.5 percent cut in the state’s budget for the year beginning July 1, urging lawmakers to bring the budget down to $31.5 billion from its current level of $35.6 ‘

‘The Chicago Tribune reports that the governor’s budget would slash Medicaid spending by $1.5 billion’,

‘Cut higher education by $387 million’,

And reduce revenue-sharing with cities and towns by $600 million’.

‘Rauner also targets transportation, calling for an end to a state subsidy that helps fund reduced fares for the poor and disabled’.

‘Moreover, Rauner would cut pensions for current state workers, moving them to the lower-benefit pension plan for recent hires, despite a state constitutional injunction against the diminishment of pension benefits. The governor’s budget would exempt police officers and firefighters from the change’.

Republicans 2016 – Scott Walker’s Financial Mess Edition – ‘Wisconsin to Skip Debt Payments to Make Up for Walker’s Tax Cuts’

scott walker budget shortfall1

scott walker budget shortfalls

The Republican Governors, with NO excpetions, that will be front running for the Republican Presidential nomination – have huge financial problems in their States.

So…..excellent resumes for becoming President.

After all the Republican argument is and will be that Governors are ‘experienced’ at running budgets……

(Bloomberg) — ‘Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, facing a $283 million deficit that needs to be closed by the end of June, will skip more than $100 million in debt payments to balance the books thrown into disarray by his tax cuts’.

‘The move comes as Walker, 47, mounts a 2016 bid for the Republican presidential nomination, and while his state is under stress from a projected shortfall that could exceed $2 billion in the two-year budget beginning in July’.

‘Delaying the $108 million principal payment due in May on short-term debt would free funds. The move doesn’t require legislative approval, the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau said in a Feb. 13 memorandum. The terms of the debt sale allow Wisconsin to defer the payment in any given year, a procedure known as a restructuring, without defaulting’.

“They need some cash.”

“They need some cash,” said Todd Berry, president of the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance, a nonpartisan research group that examines taxes and government spending. “This is kicking the can down the road.”
