“All it takes is one good guy with a gun… shoot his daughter…..” – ‘Responsible Gun Owner Shows Off Gun, Accidentally Shoots Daughter’

‘Here’s today’s installment from Texas’:

“The Dallas Morning News reported that 53-year-old Steven Johnson had taken out his gun at his home in Colleyville to show it to visitors”.

“According to Colleyville city spokesperson Mona Gandy, the gun discharged and Johnson’s 10-year-old daughter was struck by a bullet that went through a wall of the home”.

“The girl was taken to Baylor Emergency Medical Center by her mother, where police were contacted. She was then flown to Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Her condition was not disclosed”.

But There Is NO Republican War On Women – ‘GOP Congresswomen Withdraw Their Support For Proposed Abortion Ban’

war on women10

What happened to "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!?????

What happened to “Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!?????

And the reason why two women GOP’ers are withdrawing their support?

Wrong policy?

It ‘doesn’t look good’.

It won’t look ‘good’ to young women voters.

‘On Tuesday afternoon, during the House’s session, Reps. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) and Jackie Walorski (R-IN) requested to remove their names from HR 36, the “Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.”

‘Ellmers reportedly said that focusing on a national abortion ban so early in the session threatens to alienate young female voters……’

‘HR 36, which has passed the House twice in recent years, was expected to be approved by the full GOP-controlled Congress this year, particularly since the Republican leadership has turned to restrictions on later abortions as a top policy priority’.

‘It was introduced on the very first day of the 114th Congress’ session and is scheduled for a vote in the full House this Thursday, which marks the 42nd anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision’.

Republicans 2016 Clown Car – ‘Republicans Like Romney More Than Jeb Bush — WSJ/NBC Poll’

I’m a Liberal not a Progressive so I want Hillary to run.

But if this holds and Romney is the Republican nominee?

Even Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders could beat Mitt.

There is no money for Progressive causes with out a complete remake of American priorties (dismantle the military industrial complex and get corportations out of politics) but I’ll take that over the right wing ‘patriots’ and religious nuts.

‘Mitt Romney begins the 2016 Republican presidential primary campaign with significant advantages over Jeb Bush, his chief rival for GOP establishment support, according to the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll’.

‘More than half (52%) of all Republicans still maintain a positive view of the party’s 2012 nominee, compared to just 37% who said the same about Mr. Bush, the former Florida governor’.

Debunking The FOX ‘news’ Lies – ‘City of Paris to sue Fox News’

fox lies2

Millions of Americans sit in front of the TV and unquestioningly accept what FOX tells them.

Dumbing down America……

‘FOX network has since apologized for making “regrettable errors on air regarding the Muslim population in Europe—particularly with regard to England and France.”

‘Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo is planning to sue Fox News for its inaccurate reports on Muslim “no go zones,” she told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday’.

‘Hidalgo’s remarks come after Fox News ran multiple reports describing areas of Paris (and England) that were governed by Sharia law and off-limits to non-Muslims’.

“When we’re insulted, and when we’ve had an image, then I think we’ll have to sue, I think we’ll have to go to court, in order to have these words removed,” Hidalgo told Amanpour in an interview. “The image of Paris has been prejudiced, and the honor of Paris has been prejudiced.”

‘When asked to clarify which network she planned “to take to court and sue,” Hidalgo replied: “Fox News, that’s the name.”
