“The Will Of The People….” – ‘The Senate’s 46 Democrats got 20 million more votes than its 54 Republicans’

divided

bill

This is over 3 election cycles but 20 million  votes?

‘On Tuesday, 33 US senators elected in November will be sworn in by Vice President Joe Biden — including 12 who are new to the chamber’.

‘The class includes 22 Republicans and 11 Democrats, a big reason why the GOP has a 54-46 majority in the Senate overall’.

‘But here’s a crazy fact’:

‘Those 46 Democrats got more votes than the 54 Republicans across the 2010, 2012, and 2014 elections’.

‘According to Nathan Nicholson, a researcher at the voting reform advocacy group FairVote,

“The 46 Democratic caucus members in the 114th Congress received a total of 67.8 million votes in winning their seats…….’,

‘While the 54 Republican caucus members received 47.1 million votes.”

Republican ‘Small’ Government – How Republicans Will Govern – ‘New Bill Would Make Wearing Hoodies A Crime’

hoodie

You’re already commiting a crime…..but it’s worse if you wear a ‘hoodie’?

WTF2
‘Oklahoma lawmakers are planning to introduce a bill this February that would make it illegal to wear hooded sweatshirts, or “hoodies,” in public, according to a report from Oklahoma’s Channel 6 News’.

‘The bill’s purpose is seemingly to deter crime’.

By micro managing what people can and can not wear when committing crimes…..’Republican ‘small’ government.

‘Republican Senator Don Barrington will introduce the bill, which would make it a misdemeanor to “wear a mask, hood, or covering” either while committing a crime or in order to intentionally conceal one’s identity’.

‘If the bill is passed, offenders would be subject to a fine of $50 to $500, and up to one year in jail’.

The ban would not affect mask-wearers on Halloween or at masquerade parties, nor would it apply to people who wear head coverings for religious purposes’.
