‘The national average unemployment benefit payment per week is $293, according to the MSN Money website. That’s 35 percent of an average salary in America reports USA Today’.(1)
Yeah….all those lazy, unemployed people just laying around, living high off of $293 a week…..
That’s $1172 a month.
Average rent/mortgage = 700
Food = 500
Total = 1200
Now you might want to do things like oh drive a car to look for work, pay the phone bill to call for work, pay the internet bill to look for work, pay the garbage so it doesn’t pile up, buy clothes, medicine, TP…..
But no. According to John Boehner, the Speaker of the ‘People’s House’, if you’re unemployed, you think you don’t have to work……
Don’t vote and they WILL take away the safety net.
Unemployment, welfare, foods stamps, medicaid and 100’s of other programs that offer help and hope.
‘House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) seemed to echo Mitt Romney’s
infamous claim that 47 percent of Americans are “takers” who suck up
government benefits’ :
“This idea that has been born, maybe out of the economy over the last
couple years, that you know, I really don’t have to work. I don’t
really want to do this. I think I’d rather just sit around. This is a
very sick idea for our country,” he said’.

‘September 19, 2014 House Republicans are quietly discussing a
proposal that could fundamentally alter the way future speakers of
the House are chosen, according to multiple GOP sources, with the
objective of avoiding a repeat of John Boehner’s embarrassing
reelection vote in 2013’.
‘According to people briefed on it, any Republican who votes on the
House floor in January against the conference’s nominee for House
speaker—that is, the candidate chosen by a majority of the House GOP
during its closed-door leadership elections in November—would be
‘Specifically, sources say, any dissenters would be stripped of all
committee assignments for that Congress’.
