The Republican War On Women – ‘Democrats fail in attempt to reverse Hobby Lobby contraceptive ruling’

war on women10

hobby lobby1

Again the measure, under what 99.9% of the people would consider normal circumstances – passed – 56yea to 43 nay.

But once again….the Republicans filibustered the legislation so….once again – the majority of America has to live by minority rule.

And women? The majority of the 43 votes to block the legislation are men. Men telling you what you can and can’t do with your bodies.

But it’s not obstruction.

Just ask ANY Republican.

No, No.

They’re ‘saving’ America.

Republicans blocked a bill that was designed to override a Supreme Court ruling and ensure access to contraception for women who get their health insurance from companies with religious objections’.

The vote was 56-43 to move ahead on the legislation – dubbed the “Not My Boss’ Business Act” by proponents – four short of the 60 necessary to proceed’.

Of course on too many times to count, Governor Bobby ‘This Is How You Destroy A State’ Jindal has himself proven that Republicans are and continue to be the ‘stupid party’.

‘Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown gave an interview to Boston Herald Radio where he forgot that he was running for Senate in New Hampshire, not Massachusetts’.

The Republican War On Women – Republican Health Care Plan – ‘GOP Offers Birth Control Bill That Literally Does Nothing’

mcconnell5 turn kentucky blue2

See Mitch, the Supreme Court didn’t stop women from being able to get certain types of birth control, the Supreme Court just allowed a ‘religious test’ for C-O-R-P-O-R-A-T-I-O-N-S to not have to PAY for some types of birth control for women.

But low information (read stupid and/or FOX viewers) will see that as Republicans actually doing something for women……when yoiu’re really not.

‘In response to a proposal by Senate Democrats to require for-profit employers to cover birth control in their health plans, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Tuesday that Senate Republicans plan to offer their own bill requiring employers to allow women to buy their own birth control’.

“We plan to introduce legislation this week that says no employer can block any employee from legal access to her FDA-approved contraceptives,” McConnell told reporters. “There’s no disagreement on that fundamental point.”

  • The GOP bill would change nothing, because women can already legally access contraceptives approved by the Food and Drug Administration’.

‘The issue in question is whether for-profit corporations must cover the full range of FDA-approved contraceptives in their health insurance plans, as the Affordable Care Act requires them to do’.

‘The Supreme Court ruled earlier this month that Hobby Lobby, a craft supply company owned by evangelicals, can opt out of covering the four kinds of contraception that its owners believe are methods of abortion’.

“All it takes is one good guy with a gun….” – ‘Road-raging NM man shoots at carload of kids in cross-town chase over traffic disagreement’

gun nuts2

guns in us

See all we need to do is have MORE guns and then we will all be safer.

Just don’t do anything that might make someone carrying a gun mad.

And since you have no idea what that might be….best to just stay in your house, holding your gun and living in fear of people.

‘A New Mexico mother said that she was lucky to be alive this week after an angry stranger began firing a gun at her car full of children’.

‘Theresa Lechuga told KOAT that the incident began when she pulled her car over to avoid a crash on Saturday, and then got in an argument with Daniel Rozzi, who was a passenger in another vehicle’.

‘In fear for her life, Lechuga ran a red light. But the car Rozzi was in followed’.

‘After Lechuga ran several more red lights, Rozzi’s car was eventually hit by a truck’.

‘Rozzi was booked on charges of child abuse and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon’.

But the best part??????

By Tuesday, he had been released on bond’.
