The Republican Insult To Women – ”Girls Gone Mild’: Fox News Warns Women Not To ‘Raise Their Voices’ Or ‘Talk Too Much’

‘A Fox & Friends segment on Monday warned women looking to succeed in business “not to raise their voices” and not to talk too much’.

‘Fox News host Steve Doocy introduced Sylvia Ann Hewlett’s book, Executive Presence, by advising that women should wear “well-cut jeans with a colorful top,” while an on-screen graphic told them “not to raise their voices.”

‘Co-host Anna Kooiman, however, argued that “women shouldn’t be so focused on what we look like, and what we’re wearing, but what our mind can do.”

“Also a little thing that you think is important is your presentation and your voice,” co-host Brian Kilmeade added. “Keep it low, don’t speak loud.”

“For women,” Doocy emphasized’.

‘Hewlett explained that a lot of women from the South were taught to “fill the air with words… but oftentimes that undermines you, just rambling.”

“Don’t talk too much,” Doocy recommended’.

“Exactly,” Hewlett agreed. “Interestingly, men commit a lot of these mistakes, not just women. And there are some particular hurdles for people of color.”

The Republican Insult To Women – ‘Fox News Advises Women To Ditch Feminism, Offers Tips To ‘Keep Your Husband Happy’

“When did it happen when men and husbands became doormats?” Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy asked a guest on Monday morning in a segment Fox News called, “Husband Appreciation: Sage Advice For Wives.”

‘What followed was a litany of tips for how a woman can become “the good wife” and “keep your husband happy” from Susan Patton, the so-called “Princeton Mom” who attracted considerable attention in 2013 after penning a letter to her alma mater encouraging young women spend 75 percent of their college career focused on finding a husband’.

‘The controversial author criticized today’s women for “acting like such an entitled princess” and prioritizing careers ahead of their families’.

‘Men, Patton told the Fox hosts, must be appreciated and respected, perhaps with a drink at the end of a long work day or gratitude and kindness’.

‘After all, should a woman alienate her husband, she’ll spend the rest of her life searching for a suitable replacement’.

“If you are in your mid-30s or older the idea that you’re going to find yourself another husband, almost impossible,” Patton predicted. “And if you don’t believe me ask your maiden aunt, she will tell you when she’d done feeding the cats.”

‘And who’s to blame for society’s unappreciative attitude towards men? “Antagonistic feminists,” of course’.

‘Patton argues that activists has forced an “overcorrection” to American culture, in which society has gone from completely ignoring women’s rights to becoming overly sensitive to their needs’.

‘In one particularly strange example, Patton has complained that the rape that occurs between acquaintances — commonly referred to as “date rape” — should be called “mistake sex” to avoid diminishing “the true horror of rape.”

“Good advice,” Doocy beamed at the end of the Fox segment.

One Man’s Trash – ‘How The (Never) Mighty Have Fallen: Sarah Palin Begs To Be Named Co-Host Of The View’

palin ugly american

‘Transcript from The Hollywood Reporter’:

THR: “Any interest in doing a political talk show, either on TV, radio or the Internet”?

‘Sarah Palin’s Greatest Hits’

Sarah Palin: “Maybe. But the politics would have to be interspersed with a whole lot of fun and real life and inspiration showcasing American work ethic, because those topics are all pretty much the antithesis of today’s politics, which I find incorrigibly disastrous”!

‘Sarah Palin Pardons Thanksgiving Turkey While Slaughtering one’

“It’d be so much fun to shake it up taking on issues that make audiences objectively consider all sides, and I’d do it with my own real-life groundedness, candor and commonsense that I’m known for”.

‘Sarah Palin: Paul Revere Did Warn The British That The British Were Coming’!

“Media needs that today, versus the condescension that oozes from TV and radio”.

‘Couric Stumps Palin With Supreme Court Question’

“I hear everyone recently got canned from The View, maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America’s heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts. You know, someone willing to go rogue”.

A Republican World – ‘House Republicans To Waste 3.3 Million Taxpayer Dollars On Special Benghazi Investigation’

‘USA Today reported’:

benghazi 2

‘House Republicans are planing to spend as much as $3.3 million for this year’s operations of the special committee they created in May to investigate the September 2012 Benghazi attacks, a bigger budget than the House Veterans Affairs and Ethics Committees were given this year’.

‘According to a committee document provided by Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s office, House Republicans want a $3.3 million budget for this year’s operations of the 12-member select committee on the Benghazi attacks’.

‘As with most congressional committees, the document indicates the majority party gets the bigger share of the resources for the panel; the budget provides just under $2.2 million for Republicans and just over $1 million for Democrats on the committee’.

‘There are seven GOP lawmakers and five Democrats serving on the committee, and it is expected to have a staff of 30’.

‘DCCC Chairman Steve Israel blasted House Republicans’ priorities’,

“Think about these flawed priorities for a minute: House Republicans think their partisan witch hunt is a bigger priority for taxpayer dollars than the Veterans Affairs Committee. From the start, it has been clear that Republicans are reprehensibly using this select committee as a campaign tool, and now their campaign tool is going to cost taxpayers millions of dollars.”

WTF??? – A Republican World of Stupidity – ‘Real Men Blow Smoke’

coal rollers

Let’s purposely pollute just to show our hate for Obama.

You yell at the top of your (irony) lungs at the debt we’ll pass on to our children yet go out of your way to spew crap into the air that little by little, destroys the Earth.

All because you hate Obama.

‘In today’s episode of “Help, Help, I’m Being Oppressed”, this might be the stupidest freaking thing you ever saw. Just when I think their childish and self-destructive ways can’t get any worse, the conservative clowns top themselves. Via Hunter Walker at Business Insider’:

“Pickup trucks customized to spew black smoke into the air are quickly becoming the newest weapon in the culture wars”.

“Coal Rollers” are diesel trucks modified with chimneys and equipment that can force extra fuel into the engine causing dark black smoke to pour out of the chimney stacks”.

“These modifications are not new, but as Slate’s Dave Weigel pointed out on Thursday, “rolling coal” has begun to take on a political dimension with pickup drivers increasingly viewing their smokestacks as a form of protest against environmentalists and Obama administration emissions regulations”.

“I run into a lot of people that really don’t like Obama at all,” said one seller of stack kits from Wisconsin. “If he’s into the environment, if he’s into this or that, we’re not. I hear a lot of that. To get a single stack on my truck—that’s my way of giving them the finger. You want clean air and a tiny carbon footprint? Well, screw you, screw your old mother who needs oxygen to breathe, screw your kids with asthma. It’s MY Country and I’ll do what I want.”
