Any time, attention, or even mention from the Commander-in-Chief? Nah, no camera highlights in it for him”.

“West] called for articles of impeachment to be brought against President Barack Obama for negotiating with the Taliban, a “non-state, non-uniform terrorist organization, for the prisoner swap of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban terrorists that were being held at Guantanamo Bay”.

A Republican World – ‘Texas Republican Party Drafts New Platform Advocating For Ex-Gay Therapy’

Next week, the platform will have Christianity as the only ‘true’ religion in America.

And the week after that, you must be white to vote.

And the week after that……

VOTE.

Or have the ‘small government’ Republicans tell us how we will live.

‘Earlier this week, the Dallas Voice reported that the Texas Republican Party had stripped language from its platform that claimed that “homosexuality tears at the fabric of society and contributes to the breakdown of the family,” but the Houston Chronicle now reports that the language has been replaced with a different kind of condemnation’.

• “Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include homosexual couples”.
• “We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin”.
• “Additionally, we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values”.

“We recognize the legitimacy and value of counseling which offers reparative therapy and treatment to patients who are seeking escape from the homosexual lifestyle”.

“No laws or executive orders shall be imposed to limit or restrict access to this type of therapy”.

I stopped watching Morning Joe as Scarborough goes off on rants while everybody else just sits there with their thumbs up their….

Morning Joe has become just MSNBC’s version of Fox And Friends. And MSNBC wonders why their ratings are down?

‘After starting off the show tossing out spurious arguments and berating the President for his decision to release the “five most important members of the Taliban,” Joe then ended the segment with a hateful rant where he called Bergdahl a deserter and someone who was not worth saving’.

‘Well, we don’t know exactly what set Bowe Bergdahl off, do we’?

‘Maybe it was yet another instance of “kill everything that moves.”

‘We know he was upset about an Afghan child who was run over and killed by a military truck, then joked about by his fellow soldiers’.

‘Maybe he was asked to perform or keep quiet about illegal acts, things that would make him culpable under the Geneva Conventions’.

‘We just don’t know’.

‘But Joe Scarborough knows, because Joe Scarborough knows everything’.

‘And he knows that President Obama shouldn’t have put his arms around Berghdal’s parents, and he knows that if his son Joey or Andrew was in the same situation, he’d tell them to stay the hell put. (Although, as the children of a millionaire, we can guess the odds of them ever actually serving in the military.)’

‘God, I can’t stand this putz. Here he is, fighting with Chuck Todd this morning’:

‘Scarborough criticized Robert Bergdahl for some of his actions surrounding his son’s capture. Todd intervened’.

“Don’t criticize the parents,” Todd said. “Don’t criticize the parents that are missing a child! Their son is missing for five years. You know what? It is not logical…I’m not backseat driving how someone parents.”

“Any good father would not tell their son to follow their conscience and leave men and women on the line!” Scarborough said’.

“So he’s a bad father?” Todd asked’.

“Yes he is!” Scarborough fired back’.

‘Maybe a good father wouldn’t keep getting divorced and remarried, Joe. But I’m sure eventually you’ll get it right’.
