Debunking The Republican Lies On Benghazi – The ‘Republican Coverup Of Raising Money Off Of 4 Dead Americans’ Edition – ‘Benghazi Committee Backfires as Boehner Refuses to Answer Fundraising Email Questions’

benghazi 2

Trey Gowdy has already stated that ‘he has evidence’ so why does he need a ‘select committee’ and spend up to 2 years investigationg?

And now, after Trey Gowdy says ‘it’s wrong to raise money off of 4 dead Americans – even though he has done it mutiple times – now the Speaker Of The House – won’t answer questions about Republicnas raising money off of the 4 dead Americans.

  • Is that a ‘cover up’?

The Republicans and John Boehner’s ‘truth’ is only what they want us to know.

This is just a political show for the Republicans to make money – a which hunt.

Q: “Four Americans died in Benghazi. Should the NRCC fundraise off of your efforts with the select committee”?

Boehner: “Our focus is on getting the answers to those families who lost their loved ones. Period”.

Q: “Should the NRCC, they’re fundraising off of it right now, is that a wise thing to do”?

Boehner: “Our focus is getting the truth for these four families and for the American people”.

Q: “You are very involved in the fundraising off of this. Why is that happening”?

Boehner: “Our focus is on getting the truth for the American people and these four families”.

‘By repeating the same non-answer over and over again, Speaker Boehner admitted his guilt. His answers were the political equivalent of taking the fifth’.

‘This charade is already backfiring on House Republicans. The media isn’t interested, and have busted the GOP for trying to fundraise off of a tragedy. The American people aren’t interested, and only the zombies who watch Fox News care about this conspiracy’.

Republicans – BENGHAZI!! BENGHAZI!! BENGHAZI!! – ‘Meet the chief prosecutor in the GOP’s Benghazi show trial’

‘Rep. Trey Gowdy, the tea party Republican tapped to lead the new committee investigating the 2012 Benghazi attacks, made a telling slip Wednesday morning in describing his mission’.

‘Asked by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough about the possibility that his panel’s work would continue into the 2016 election campaign, Gowdy replied that “if an administration is slow-walking document production, I can’t end a trial simply because the defense won’t cooperate.”

‘A trial’?

‘And the Obama administration is the defense’?

“I have evidence that, not only are they hiding it, there’s an intent to hide it,” said Gowdy.

“I can’t disclose that evidence yet, but I have evidence that there was a systematic, intentional decision to withhold certain documents from Congress…”
@ :

  • Then why have a trial’?
  • Why not just show us….you remember us don’t you….’We The People’…show US the ‘evidence.

Or is this ‘trial’ just political show….so that you and your Republican buddies can raise money off of the 4 dead Amercians?

‘So much for that “serious investigation” House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) promised; his new chairman intends to play prosecutor, proving the administration’s guilt to the jury — in this case, the public’.

A Republican World – The “Here’s How We Republicans Need To Hate Anyone Different Then Us’ Edition – ‘Ted Cruz Champions Nuremberg-Style Laws for Gays and Lesbians’

ted cruz

Ted Cruz :

” I don’t think the law should be forcing Americans to violate their religious faith”.

Article 6 Section 3 of the United States Constitution :

but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States”.

Ted Cruz wants there to be religious tests in how and why we interact in our society.

Ted Cruz and the teabaggers don’t seem to understand that we are a society.

In our society, you can have any religious belief you want – BUT you will obey the laws – which the Founding Fathers in their wisdon – made very clear would NOT be based on any religious beliefs.

Don’t like it?

Move to Iran where the laws ARE based on religious beliefs.

‘On Friday, President Robert B. Sloan Jr., of Houston Baptist University, said gays and lesbians were like arsonists or alcoholics’.

‘Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who appeared with Sloan at “Faith in the Public Square,” and always in lockstep with religious extremists, asserted that Christians should not have to do business with gay people’.

Ted Cruz :

“Everyone has to reconcile their own faith with how they interact with others, and that’s a choice you’ve got to make based on your understanding of biblical teachings and based on the best understanding you can come to it”.

“I’m very much a believer that the scripture teaches that you hate the sin and love the sinner, and so, you know, from my perspective I am perfectly willing to interact with anybody. Look, I work in the U.S. Congress. But at the same time, I don’t think the law should be forcing Americans to violate their religious faith”.

The Republican War On Women – ‘TX GOPer: It’s a ‘Myth’ that Planned Parenthood Has Anything to do with Women’s Health’

war on women10

war on women21

‘158,345 Texans received preventative health care at Planned Parenthood in 2013, but hey! “Look this is a myth that Planned Parenthood has anything to do with women’s health.”

‘Incumbent Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst and Texas State Senator Dan Patrick debated in WFAA’s studios Wednesday night for the Republican runoff for lieutenant governor. When when asked about women’s healthcare, Dan Patrick — the senator who wants to be lieutenant governor – said’,

  • “Look this is a myth that Planned Parenthood has anything to do with women’s health.”

‘But this shouldn’t surprise anyone because last week, this Texas state senator said’,

“I don’t care if every Planned Parenthood clinic in America goes out of business. In fact, that would be a great goal. More babies would live and women would get great health care from doctors who actually care about them.”

‘Since Republicans have such an aversion to Google, I’ll help this poor man out. On a national level, Planned Parenthood actually does plenty for women’s health. Such as’:

“Planned Parenthood health centers focus on prevention: 71 percent of our clients receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy”.

“Planned Parenthood services help prevent more than 486,000 unintended pregnancies each year”.

“Planned Parenthood provides 585,000 Pap tests and nearly 640,000 breast exams each year, critical services in detecting cancer”.

“Planned Parenthood provides nearly 4.5 million tests and treatments for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV”.

Three percent of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services”.

“Planned Parenthood affiliates provide educational programs to more than one million young people and adults each year”.

‘Also, as the Senator should be aware, there is a law that prohibits Planned Parenthood from using government funds for abortion. This law is called the Hyde Amendment and it’s been around a long time, so there’s no excuse for the faux outrage and pretend ignorance over its existence’.

A Republican World – ‘Sad: The Senate GOP kills a bill that would have let millions of people with student loans re-finance at a lower rate. Obvious: Because it would have been financed by imposing the “Buffet Tax” on people making more than $1 million/year’*

paul ryan6

‘The No. 2 Republican in the Senate is throwing cold water on a Democratic proposal aimed at helping borrowers with outstanding student-loan debt’.

‘Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, the minority whip, criticized the legislation, which would finance its provisions through the so-called Buffett Tax on people making more than $1 million’.

“This looks like a dusted-off proposal to raise taxes, and that’s not something I think we need to do,” Cornyn said. “Our economy grew at 0.1 percent last quarter.”

‘Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts introduced the Bank on Students Emergency Loan Refinancing Act this week as part of the Democrats’ Fair Shot Agenda. The legislation has 26 cosponsors—all Democrats—and would let borrowers with outstanding student-loan debt refinance it at the 3.86 percent rate achieved after Congress passed the Bipartisan Student Loan Certainty Act last year’.

‘Democrats argue that the legislation is needed because student debt is weighing down the economy and dragging graduates from the ranks of the middle class rather than boosting them into it’.

“Allowing students to refinance their loans would put money back in the pockets of people who invested in their education,” Warren said in a statement. “These students didn’t go to the mall and run up charges on a credit card. They worked hard and learned new skills that will benefit this country and help us build a stronger middle class and a stronger America.”

Debunking The Republican Lies – The ‘We Have To Pay For Food Stamps In Offsets But Not Tax Cut’ Edition – ‘House Republicans Vote To Reverse Billions In Deficit Savings’

‘On Wednesday, the House — by a vote of 230-188 — passed one of the six “tax extenders” bills recently approved by the Ways and Means Committee’.

The measure, which accounts specifically for research and experimentation tax credit, could have served as a rare example of bipartisanship: both Republicans and Democrats support the broad ideas of an extension and expansion of the research and experimentation credit.’

‘But the bill’s actual provisions — or lack thereof — are the source of Democrats’ and President Obama’s opposition to the bill’.

‘As a Center on Budget and Policy Priorities report explains, the GOP-backed bill permanently extends the research and experimentation tax credit’,

  • ‘but does offset its cost by closing any loopholes within the current tax code’.
  • ‘Thus, the extension and expansion of the credit greatly add to the deficit’.

‘Closing tax loopholes, however, could offset the costs of the six tax extenders: $151 billion for research and experimentation credit; $301 billion for all six Ways and Means bills; and $560 billion for a permanent extension of all tax credits. Not offsetting the costs of extensions means that ultimately 75 percent of the $770 billion in revenue raised by the 2012 “fiscal cliff” deal would be reversed’.
