Except that you did …….
Today US Senator Dean Heller :
“I am very quick in calling American citizens ‘patriots,’” Heller said in an interview. “Maybe in this case, too quick.”
‘Heller added: “I want to make it very clear that I never called Bundy a patriot”.
And a whole 12 day ago US Senator Dean Heller :
“What Sen. Reid may call domestic terrorists, I call patriots,” he said during the April 18 televised interview. “We have a very different view on this.”
Unles of course Senator that you were calling everybody BUT Cliven Bundy a ‘patriot’.
Maybe you were. Then in THAT case, you didn’t call Cliven Bundy a ‘patriot’.
The teabagger ‘militia’ – The Ugly Americans.
MESQUITE, Nev. — ‘Hotels in Mesquite say they have already lost more than a $100,000 in business because of armed militia groups patrolling Bunkerville’.
‘8 News NOW has learned Mesquite Police are investigating death threats to hotel staffers following a bomb threat earlier this month. The threats were reportedly called in by supporters of Cliven Bundy, the Bunkerville rancher battling over his cattle with the Bureau of Land Management’.
‘Democratic Representative Steven Horsford says people are living in fear, under the constant presence of armed militia groups’.
‘8 News NOW investigated those claims and found that while people from some of the top hotel chains didn’t want to go on camera, the dispute is costing them, and the community, plenty’.
‘As armed militia groups poured into Bunkerville to support rancher Cliven Bundy, so did threats’.
‘One Mesquite city leader said the entire Holiday Inn Express was evacuated for hours following a bomb threat related to the Bundy saga more than two weeks ago’.
‘8 News NOW obtained a police report which also shows the hotel received at least nine threatening phone calls in April, after they allowed BLM rangers to stay in the hotel’.
‘Workers were told to kick out the BLM or they “would not be standing in the morning.”
‘One Mesquite hotel worker, who didn’t want to go on camera, said he was told by an anonymous militia member that he would be “dragged out in the parking lot and shot”.

‘Today, Republicans proposed tax provisions without offsets that Ranking Member Sander Levin (D-MI) points out would add “a combined $310 billion to the deficit,” which “represents more than half of the entire federal deficit this year.”
“To say that Republican action today is hypocritical is a serious understatement,” Levin charged’.
“Mr. Chairman, it wasn’t long ago that you declared that “the path to our economic recovery starts with fiscal responsibility in Washington.’ This approach today flies smack in the face of fiscal responsibility. Fiscal responsibility should not simply be a slogan.”
“The Joint Committee on Taxation has estimated that the bills, without an offset, would add a combined $310 billion to the deficit. To put that figure into context, that total represents more than half of the entire federal deficit this year – which I should note is the lowest it has been since President Obama took office.”
“The total represents nearly two-thirds of all non-defense domestic discretionary spending in 2014′.
‘It is more than three times what we spend annually on education, job training and social services’.
‘It is five times more than we spend on veterans. And it is five times more than we spend on medical research and public health.”

Article 6 : “……and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States”.
First Amendment : “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”.
Yet Republican Senate candidates in Iowa apparently haven’t read the Constitution or were afraid to say that there can’t be a religions test for any office since they were at the Religious Right Family Leader conference in Iowa.
Every day I could write 20 posts on the debunked lies from Republicans, FOX, Breitbart, Daily Caller and all the other right wing so called ‘news’ outlets.
And that would be just the tip of the misinformation, disinformation iceberg.
This along with the Republican obstruction, war on women and the class warfare on middle class wages & income, is what we need to run on.
Get Republicans to understand (well some of them) that they are being lied to and used by the very places they depend on getting their news from.
ROTFLMAO as Breitbart (cough) news continued it’s ‘headline :
‘As the news of the canonization of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II streamed across the world Saturday morning bringing joy to Catholics everywhere, Huffington Post found that news of “Instagram Feuds,” the fact that “Miley Loves Pancakes,” the tale of Bill Clinton’s dieting plan, “coconut oil facts,” and other such stories were far more important for readers to see on the home page than the news of the canonization of popes’.
Sadly for Breitbart, people learned to read, use the internet and think for themselves.
Something most Breitbart, FOX, NewsMax, Daily Caller and other right wing media uses haven’t been able to do.

Your opinion means nothing

My opinions are based on facts. Is that why?
“So does the fact that it IS on the front page of HuffPo here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/…”
**’lukuj • 2 days ago
If they had covered it, it would have been with disdain, innuendo, and negatively, so it is just as well they ignored it. There are far better places to go for coverage of such an event.

There is an exception to every rule. The comments would have been vile, too, as the Catholic bashers came out I droves.

They covered it. They covered it several times leading up to the big dag, AND they livestreamed video of the event, as it happened: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/…

Weird, found this on the homepage of HuffPo by ctrl+f searching for “pope”:
**’pic18f pic18f • 2 days ago
It’s also the main story on http://huffingtonpost.com/reli…. Seriously, of all things to complain about?
**’disqus_tGm8f3IDb6 • 2 days ago
Breitbart claims Huffpo didn’t have a story, but in case you’re wondering Breitbart didn’t bother to fact check itself because here’s the story: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/…
Can’t wait for Breitbart news to issue a correction.
**’hdavis disqus_tGm8f3IDb6 • a day ago
They never issue corrections, just delete the story and hope their readers forget.
