‘Democrats Plan Ads in Challenge to Koch Brothers’

My pick right now is that the Democrats will lose a net of 5 seats in the Senate giving them 48. Add the 2 Independents and with VP Biden’s vote will hold the Senate for the Democrats.

But…….In the 113th Congress, all the Democrats needed was 5 Republicans to over turn a filibuster. Getting 10 Republicans to vote against a Republican filibuster will be impossible.

President Obama’s only job in the last 2 years of his Presidency will be to use the veto pen.
That will be his legacy.

Sadly for American, it will mean 2 full years of stagnation.

On the up side, in two years, Hillary will take the White House, Democrats will gain back the Senate, possibly getting even 60 seats, and what’s left of the teabaggers will be a small group of wild eyed fanatics – their usual members – giving 5 minute speeches on the House floor that no one pays any attention to.

‘Americans for Prosperity, a Koch-backed group, has spent up to 10 times as much as the Senate Majority PAC, quickly becoming one of the biggest players in this year’s election’.

WASHINGTON — ‘Senate Majority PAC, a group that supports Democratic Senate candidates, is preparing a $3 million advertising campaign against Charles G. Koch and David H. Koch, the libertarian-minded billionaire brothers who support conservative causes and have already poured millions of dollars into the 2014 midterm elections’.

‘The group’s effort will last for roughly two weeks and span five states — Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan and North Carolina’.

‘In an attempt to combat the Koch brothers’ influence, the $3 million buy will nearly match what Senate Majority PAC has spent on all of its other television ads so far this cycle, around $3.6 million’.

  • ‘The group is spending about $500,000 in each of the five states except North Carolina, where it is spending $1 million to help Senator Kay Hagan, who is considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for re-election this year’.
