The Republican ‘War On The Poor’ – ‘Paul Ryan: Free School Lunch Means Poor Parents Don’t Care About Kids’

paul ryan10

Is plagarism going to be the Repeblican 2016 theme?

‘Wonkette reported on Thursday that Ryan’s remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday regarding a “young boy from a very poor family” relying on “a government program” for his lunches was strikingly similar to the premise of the book An Invisible Thread, which recounted author Laura Schroff’s 1986 meeting with an 11-year-old “homeless panhandler” named Maurice, who was receiving lunches through a school program’.

gop lies

Here’s the quote from the book :
“Because when I see kids come to school with their lunch in a paper bag, that means someone cares about them. Miss Laura, can I please have my lunch in a paper bag?”

And here’s what Ryan relayed :
“He told Eloise he didn’t want a free lunch. He wanted his own lunch, one in a brown-paper bag just like the other kids,” he continued. “He wanted one, he said, because he knew a kid with a brown-paper bag had someone who cared for him. This is what the left does not understand.”

What the left does understand is real human suffering.

Not cut and paste stories that you had no real understanding of.

‘Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) said Thursday that liberals don’t understand disadvantaged students would rather have parents who care for them than a free lunch at school’.

‘Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Ryan said Republicans offer their constituents “ideas” while Democrats offer a “full stomach and an empty soul.”

‘He then told an anecdote he said was relayed to him by Eloise Anderson, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) Department of Children and Families secretary’.

“She once met a young boy from a very poor family, and every day at school, he would get a free lunch from a government program,” Ryan said’.

“He told Eloise he didn’t want a free lunch. He wanted his own lunch, one in a brown-paper bag just like the other kids,” he continued. “He wanted one, he said, because he knew a kid with a brown-paper bag had someone who cared for him. This is what the left does not understand.”

“So with immigration, you better be smart and you better be tough and they’re taking your jobs and you better be careful.”

CPAC – Republican Hate , Fear And Loathing on Parade – ‘Behold Wayne LaPierre’s Nightmarishly Paranoid Vision Of America’

wayne lapeirre

“In the world that surrounds us,” he proclaimed, “there are terrorists, and there are home-invaders, drug cartels, car-jackers, knockout-gamers, and rapers, and haters, and campus killers, airport killers, shopping mall killers, and killers who scheme to destroy our country with massive storms of violence against our power grids or vicious waves of chemicals or disease that could collapse our society that sustains us all.”

“Do you trust this government to protect you?” LaPierre asked the crowd, which responded with a resounding “no!”

“We are on our own. That is a certainty”:

MORE!! WTF? – ‘Ohio Ministers, In Cahoots With Cops, Stage Their Own Mock Arrests to Illustrate ‘Christian Persecution’

religion nuts

‘Putting on a stage play is one thing’.

‘But that church officials are reduced to staging arrests by bad-guy cops (who clearly represent the long arm of government) is the best illustration yet of how absolutely deranged the Christian persecution narrative has become’.

‘Do you have any idea how oppressed and persecuted American Christians are’?

‘So oppressed and persecuted that in order to prove it, pastors in Ohio called the local cops and requested to be taken into custody in front of their congregations’.

‘You heard right’.

‘The histrionic clergymen staged mock arrests with the help of publicly funded police officers no less to drive home how severely their Jesus faith has come under attack’.

‘Via the Washington Times’:

“Videos of the mock arrests posted online brought a wave of criticism for the Summit County Sheriff’s office from people who thought the deputies really were interrupting church services to make arrests”.

  • “Sheriff Steve Barry says his deputies took part in the mock arrests Sunday at a couple churches around Akron after the pastors approached his office and asked it to participate”.
  • “The churches staged the arrests as part of their “Defending the Faith” sermons. Videos showed deputies handcuffing pastors while they preached and placing them in patrol cars”.

‘The Akron Beacon Journal reports that the fake arrests were part of a bigger production intended to’

  • “… make people more aware of what it takes for pastors to defend the Christian faith beyond preaching on Sundays”.

“… [a] drama [at the Akron Civic Theater] will be set in a courtroom where local pastors, who are accused of not defending their faith, will respond to the charge by explaining how their ministries require them to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week”.

WTF? – ‘Florida mayor fights backyard gun ranges in ‘Gunshine State’

‘Florida mayor fights backyard gun ranges in ‘Gunshine State’
‘By Barbara Liston’
ORLANDO, Florida Thu Mar 6, 2014 1:49pm EST

(Reuters) – ‘Every Wednesday afternoon, Doug Varrieur steps into his backyard in the Florida Keys, aims his .380 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol and fires shots that ricochet through city halls around the state’.

‘Varrieur, 57, discovered a little-noticed part of Florida law which prohibits local governments from restricting gun rights in any way, and in December he set up a personal gun range on his property in a residential subdivision’.

‘Neighbors were outraged by the live gunfire, but their surprise was nothing compared to that of municipal leaders, who were shocked to realize there was nothing they could do about it’.

“The rational gun owners I speak to realize this is lunacy,” said Michael Ryan, the mayor of Sunrise, in southeast Florida’.

“All it takes is one good man with a gun….” – ‘Teachers Become Targets in Active Shooter Drills’

I wonder if they do this in all those ‘socialists’ Countries that have gun control laws?

FARMINGTON, Mo. (KMOX) – ‘Some teachers in Farmington balked this week after being told that a school safety drill would require them to wear goggles and be shot at with air soft pellet guns’.

‘Four teachers at Farmington High school contacted the Prosecuting Attorney’s office on Tuesday after they were handed goggles during the “active shooter” exercise’.

‘Associate Superintendent Sarah Long says school personnel were not forced to take part in that aspect of the drill’.

“…which means when they actually go in and show you what an actual shooter situation is you can say: I don’t want to be one of the victims, I think that’s too scary,” says Long. “Teachers could sign up to work in department meetings and in other professional developmental opportunities. We had about 45 members of the staff to do those.”

A Republican World – ‘First Look: Game Passed Around Alamance Sheriff’s Office’

border patrol

BURLINGTON, N.C. – ‘Within hundreds of pages of evidence from the the U-S Justice Department’s suit against Alamance County Sheriff Terry Johnson – are pictures of a video game an Alamance County Sheriff’s Department Captain e-mailed coworkers’.

‘The game’s called Border Patrol and the screen says – “there is one simple objective – keep them out at any cost!” Them being labeled – Mexican nationalist, drug smuggler and breeder’.

  • ‘You can see how the player targets someone headed into the U-S towards the Welfare office. And the end of the game shows a racial slur to find out how many people the player killed’.

‘The feds say this message was included in the email with the game’:

“Makes you feel better anyway, I did my part today, I kept several from coming over!!!”

‘The Justice Department says the Sheriff failed to discipline the worker behind this e-mail. And the feds claim that’s just one example of what’s called “a total lack of discipline for expressing anti-Latino sentiment.”
