Stories From The Religious Fringe Freaks – A ‘Conservative’ vision for America – ‘Cruz’s Dad: ‘Homosexual Marriage’ Designed To Make Government Your God’

ted cruz2

Senator Ted Cruz is easy to laugh at.

Don’t.

He is what is called a ‘true believer’  and has the charisma to attract other ‘true believers’.

Take religious fanaticism for exactly what it is.

Fascism.

The Bible wrapped in a the Flag.

‘The new federal health care law will “destroy the elderly” and “homosexual marriage” is designed to supplant God with government, Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) father warned conservatives in Iowa over the weekend’.

‘In a fiery speech Saturday at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, Pastor Rafael Cruz laid out a number of socialist doomsday scenarios that he claimed are playing out in the United States, likening President Barack Obama to Fidel Castro’.

“Socialism requires that government becomes your god,” he said, as quoted by The Des Moines Register. “That’s why they have to destroy the concept of God. They have to destroy all loyalties except loyalty to government. That’s what’s behind homosexual marriage.”

‘Cruz said “our lives are under attack” due to the Affordable Care Act, the federal health care law widely known as “Obamacare.”

“Obamacare is going to destroy the elderly by denying care, by even perhaps denying treatment to people who are in catastrophic circumstances,” the elder Cruz said’.

Republican Extremism and Why it’s called the Really, Really Really ‘Stupid Party’ – ‘Santorum: Term ‘Middle Class’ Is ‘Marxism Talk’

rick santorum1

Sadly for Rick ‘Bible Thumper’ Santorum, he will be out Bible thumped this election cycle by Senator Ted Cruz’s father.

But Rick can still spread Hate, Fear and Loathing.

‘Rick Santorum says the term “middle class” is “Marxism talk” since America doesn’t have any classes’.

“Since when in America do we have classes?” Santorum asked a Republican gathering in Lyon County, Iowa, “There’s no class in America.”

‘He added that the GOP, unlike Democrats,“values the dignity of every human life,” and therefore shouldn’t use the term—which he has actually used repeatedly’.

teabagger & Birther Alert!! – ‘GOP Rep: We Have The Votes In The House To Impeach Obama’

Rep Blake Farenholkd

I know it would be asking a lot but exactly what would President Obama be impeached for?

Oh. I see. People, i.e. teabaggers are ‘unhappy’.

Yes the Founders were wise enough to but into the Constitution the orders for impeachment :

‘Article 2 – The Executive Branch’
‘Section 4 – Disqualification’
‘The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors’.

Being ‘unhappy’ or if teabaggers were honest, being black is not a reason for impeachment.

‘Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) told constituents at an event Saturday in his district that, although it would amount to a fruitless effort that could potentially damage the country, Republicans have the votes in the House to impeach President Barack Obama’.

‘Fielding a question from a birther at a gathering in Luling, Texas, Farnethold at first lamented that Congress didn’t do more to investigate Obama’s birth certificate’.

“I think unfortunately the horse is already out of the barn on this, on the whole birth certificate issue.” Farenthold said. “The original Congress when his eligibility came up should have looked into this and they didn’t. I’m not sure how we fix it.”

“You tie into a question I get a lot, if everybody’s so unhappy with what the President’s done, why don’t you impeach him,” Farenthold continued’.

‘WATCH: Republican Congressman Eloquently Explains In 90 Seconds Why His Party Shouldn’t Shut Down The Government’

governmanet shutdown

Sadly for Rep. Cole, while his party the Republicans are in the Majority in the House, he is in the minority in being intelligent and rational.

The House, energized by the town halls and fearful of being primaried by far right wing nuts, will vote to fund Government except for Obamacare.

They will shut down the Government.

Republicans. Hate, Fear and Loathing are not policies.

Or try unless you and I and every intelligent person in America calls them on this.

PAULS VALLEY, Oklahoma — ‘Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) gave a powerful rebuke to those in his party calling for a government shutdown at a town hall on Friday, defending the vital role that public employees play in society’.

‘CONSTITUENT: “If you fund the government with everything except [Obamacare], Democrats are going to yell and scream all that, “the Republicans are shutting the government down!” […] You can take it to the American people, they will support it”.

‘COLE: […] “We’ll see what happens in September when we get back, but my instinct is, you won’t win that fight. It won’t be popular. Never polls popular”.

“What do you tell the people you’re inconveniencing”?

“Most of the people that argue this point are not thinking, why would you shut down the National Weather Center that just saved a whole lot of lives in central Oklahoma by giving us 16 minutes of warning instead of two”.

“Why would you put 15,000 families — that’s families — out of work at Tinker Air Force Base”.

“There are four million important national defense workers. Why would you go to Sulphur, where there are guys in their 80s and 90s who gave this country everything they possibly had in its darkest moment, and say, “sorry, there’s not going to be anybody here showing up to fix your meals or look after you or do the commitments we made.”

“I don’t think it’s smart politics”.

“Anytime you hurt millions of people, and inconvenience tens of millions more, I don’t think you usually achieve your end. I think they wonder why you did that to them”.
