Republican Extremism – But it’s NOT Republican Obstructionism – ‘House GOP Passes 40th Obamacare Repeal Bill Before Going Home For Summer Recess – 5 WEEKS OFF’

house votes 40 times

‘Friday’s vote was the 40th time the House has tried to fully or partially repeal ObamaCare’.

‘The House voted Friday to prevent the IRS from enforcing any aspect of ObamaCare, a bill meant to exact revenge against an agency that Republicans say is incapable of neutral enforcement of the law’.

‘Members approved the Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act in a 232-185 vote’.

Two Sets Of Rules – One for them….One for us – ‘Congress to get Obamacare fix: reports’

corruption1
In effect, members of Congress and their staffs will get a ‘contribution’ (‘We The People’ taxpayers ‘get’ to pay) from the Government (‘We The People’) to subsidize their health insurance.

‘Under the deal, according to the New York Times, the government, “We The People,” will continue subsidizing the healthcare of ALL politicians and their staff in the order of $5,000 per individual per year, and $11,000 per family per year. They must purchase their healthcare plans on the health insurance exchanges’.@ : http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/08/03/you-will-not-believe-how-big-a-subsidy-politicians-get-for-healthcare/
So ‘We The People’ pay a salary of $174,000 to our Congress men and women and then we also get ot ‘pay’ to subsidize their health insurance.

In effect – what Obamacare does for many Americans except we don’t have a public pahying us a $174,000 salary….

In effect – they will be getting a subsidy – a larger subsidy then the poor and middle class would get under Obamacare what the  Republicans keep trying to repeal  FOR many Americans…..

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) — ‘The White House has approved a deal that will create a regulatory fix for members of Congress and their staff related to some of the provisions of the Affordable Care Act, according to media reports’.
‘Under the law, popularly referred to as Obamacare, lawmakers and their aides were required to source health insurance “created” by the law or offered through one of its exchanges; and without the subsidies they currently have, the members of Congress would have faced thousands of dollars in additional premium payments each year, the reports said’.
‘However, the Office of Personnel Management now plans to rule that the government can continue to make a contribution (i.e. – we taxpayers ‘get’ to pay) to the health-care premiums of the lawmakers and their staff, according to unnamed congressional sources and a White House official’.From : http://www.marketwatch.com/story/congress-to-get-obamacare-exemption-report-2013-08-02?dist=tcountdown

Texas Ramps Up It’s War On The Poor, Begins Pushing SNAP Recipients onto Food Banks

The State of Texas, through its Health and Human Services Department, has begun to ramp up its efforts to get the poor, especially those who are relying on social programs, to leave the state by denying thousands of eligible food stamp recipients an opportunity to utilize the program.

Texas, led by an extremist GOP legislature and Governor, has openly circumvented Federal Income Guidelines for SNAP eligibility and imposed their own onerous, and often “tricky” guidelines for those wishing to apply for assistance. Many of those I spoke to who applied for Food Stamps in the State of Texas recall experiences dealing with hostile and overtly political staff, who often mislead them about qualifications, asserted the Food Stamp program was “State Funded” and who screamed at them and were very abusive.

Not only did the recipients have to deal with extreme ideologues in applying for food stamps in Texas, the…
