With some cats….it’s just because.
So 1, count them or rather it, one State, that is also a welfare State in that it receives more back from the Federal Government then it pays in, wants ALL of us to conform to their standards of morality.
Dear State of Ideehoe – it’s called a remote control. If you don’t like what’s on – change the channel.
BOISE, Idaho – ‘Idaho legislators want the Federal Communications Commission to crack down on TV portrayals of premarital sex, including people joking about sex, lying in bed together or undressing’.
‘The Idaho House State Affairs Committee on Thursday passed a nonbinding “memorial” to encourage the FCC to target such portrayals in scripted TV shows, reality shows and ads’.
‘HJM 2, sponsored by Rep. Darrell Bolz, R-Caldwell, and six GOP co-sponsors, cites the Idaho Constitution’s statement that “the first concern of all good government is the virtue and sobriety of the people, and the purity of the home.”
‘The measure alleges “Inappropriate and indecent material is being broadcast more frequently” and notes that the FCC is charged with preventing the broadcast of indecent programming between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. when children might be watching. The memorial calls on the federal agency to “resume enforcement of traditional American standards of decency.”

Does CPAC represent the Republican Party?
But it does represnet the direction the Conservative movement is going.
This person seems extreme but in reality is very ‘normal’ in the new extreme.
And these are the people that are active, energized and vote in primaries.
Primaries that decide the candidates for the Republican Party.
NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland — ‘A panel at the Conservative Political Action Committee on Republican minority outreach exploded into controversy on Friday afternoon, after an audience member defended slavery as good for African-Americans’.
‘The exchange occurred after an audience member from North Carolina, 30-year-old Scott Terry, asked whether Republicans could endorse races remaining separate but equal’.
‘After the presenter, K. Carl Smith of Frederick Douglass Republicans, answered by referencing a letter by Frederick Douglass forgiving his former master, the audience member said “For what? For feeding him and housing him?”
‘Several people in the audience cheered and applauded Terry’s outburst’.
‘After the exchange, Terry muttered under his breath, “why can’t we just have segregation?” noting the Constitution’s protections for freedom of association’.
‘When asked by ThinkProgress if he’d accept a society where African-Americans were permanently subservient to whites, he said “I’d be fine with that.” He also claimed that African-Americans “should be allowed to vote in Africa,” and that “all the Tea Parties” were concerned with the same racial problems that he was’.
‘At one point, a woman challenged him on the Republican Party’s roots, to which Terry responded, “I didn’t know the legacy of the Republican Party included women correcting men in public.”
‘He claimed to be a direct descendent of Confederate President Jefferson Davis’.

Here’s his speech. Don’t bother watching unless you need to lose and never get back 15 minutes of your life.
‘In perhaps the oddest moment in the strange speech, Trump suggested that “the problem with the country” is that the Obama administration turned down his offer to build a $100 million ballroom at the White House’.
‘After the birther conspiracy theorist’s odd, rambling, speech Friday, it’s a safe bet that he won’t be asked back any time soon’.
‘Trump also discussed immigration reform, insisting that creating a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants is a “suicide mission.”
“Every one of those 11 million people will be voting Democratic. It’s just the way it works,” Trump said. When it comes to European immigrants, however, Trump could not have sung a more different tune. “Why aren’t we letting people in from Europe?” Trump asked, noting that he has friends who sent their sons to Harvard and Wharton School of Business, but then had to leave the country.
‘Predictably, most of Trump’s speech focused on his favorite subject: Donald Trump. At various points he boasted he single-handedly turned around the Doral resort in Miami, that his “friends” in OPEC — which includes Venezuela and Iran — have given him special insight into U.S. foreign policy, and that he filed a financial statement in 2012 showing that he’s made over $8 billion (a bold-faced lie)’.
‘Although Trump did receive a few bursts of laughter and applause, the “crowd” of conservative activists sat through long stretches of his address in uncomfortable silence’.

This is why FOX doesn’t get intervoews with the President.
They don’t do any research. They just make things up.
Dumbing down the American public.
It occurs to me that if you really didn’t like someone, you’d send them on a Carnival Cruise.
The reverse is also true. What would you think if someone gave you a ‘gift’ of a Carnival Cruise?
‘The company announced late Thursday night that the Carnival Legend, currently off the coast of Honduras, is unable to sail at its optimal speed because of a technical problem, forcing the ship to cut short passengers’ vacation’.
