Why it’s called the ‘Stupid Party’ – ‘Fox Anchor Calls Out Paul Ryan’s Budget Plan: Repealing Obamacare Is ‘Not Going To Happen’

Here’s THE budget god of the Republican party.

Going to put forth a budget based on repealing Obamacare.

Basing his budget on something the Republicans have tried to repeal in whole or part over 33 times.

The ‘Stupid Party’.

‘On Sunday morning, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) stopped by Fox News Sunday to preview his new budget, which will be released in full on Tuesday’.

‘As it had the past two years, this year’s version will call for massive cuts to social service programs, including food stamps, job training, Medicaid, and Medicare’.

‘Host Chris Wallace challenged Ryan on the viability of his plan’.

WALLACE: “Are you saying that as part of your budget you would repeal — you assume the repeal of Obamacare”?

RYAN: “Yes”.

WALLACE: “Well that’s not going to happen”.

RYAN: “Well, we believe it should”.

WALLACE: “This was a big issue in the campaign between Romney-Ryan vs. Obama-Biden. They think they won and they think that’s one of the reasons they won, and there are, Congressman, a lot of independent studies that say if you put this into effect, the net effect will be that seniors will end up having to pay more of the share of their healthcare cost”.

RYAN: “I would argue against your premise that we lost this issue in the campaign. We won the senior vote”.

Why it’s called the ‘Stupid Party’ – ‘Public High School Students Won’t Learn About Voting In Government Class If Iowa Bill Becomes Law’

dumbing down

Republicans…..Laying the ground work of dumbing down America so they can repeal the 17th Amendment and pass restrictive so called voter ID laws.

‘Iowa state Rep. Pat Grassley (R) — the grandson of Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) — introduced a bill earlier this week that increases the amount of instruction in government and “the tenets of American citizenship” but specifically eliminates “the high school social studies requirement to teach voting procedures.”

‘Under the measure, public high school students in Iowa would learn about “national, state, county, and local governments” without receiving instruction in voting procedures or methods’:

“The bill strikes requirements that high school students receive instruction in voting statutes and procedures, voter registration requirements, the use of paper ballots and voting systems in the election process, and the method of acquiring and casting an absentee ballot”.

First a word from your sponsor….

Many humble apologies for being ‘gone’ the last week.

With ‘Spring’ like weather actulayy hitting the Inland Empire, I’ve also been hit with the worst allergy attacks.

The ‘some day I’ll laugh at it’ ‘funny’ thing is 5 yearts ago I hit 55. I more or less considered it ‘middle age’.
Not that I was going to live until 110 but in my and I imagine most ‘middle aged’ peoples’ minds, at 55, we are no longer young but certainly not old.

Thus – ‘middle aged’.

And up until I hit 55, the worst thing that ever happened to me besides Vietnam was the occassional cold and flu.

That was it.

Then came 55.

Heart attack.

DJD in both knees.

So agin my apologies for not being here.

I’ve tried to keep up on reading, commented on a few and kept up with comments on mine.

The little blue pills make it hard for me to operate – well anything.
Spoons, buttons, keyboards, reading…….

And the little red pills knock me out for 10 hours.

But life and my sneezing and ichy, watery eyes seems to be finding a balance so much like the Terminator…..I’m back.
