But it’s NOT Republican Obstructionism – As Republicans chant Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! – ‘Veterans jobs bill stalls in Senate’

“We’re going to do nothing to help the man who helped us get bin Laden?” Paul asked’.

Well let’s see Republican Senator Rand Paul. We could invade Pakistan to get the Dr.

But my question to you Republcian Senator Rand Paul is why is the Dr. more important then the Veterans?

‘The Veterans Job Corps bill was held up in the Senate late Wednesday night after Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) filibustered to gain support for the release of a Pakistani doctor who helped locate Osama bin Laden’.

‘The bill, which has bi-partisan support, would create a veterans jobs training program, costing $1 billion over five years’.

“A vet job bill – does that deserve a fight?” Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) asked after a Senate roll call’.

‘Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) argued that his filibuster took “15 minutes” and was for a good cause – to call for the release of Shakil Afridi, the Pakistani doctor who helped the CIA find bin Laden’.

‘Paul has promised to stall Senate action until the doctor is released from jail – something the Pakistani government has said it will not do. Paul has also called on the Obama administration to cut foreign aid to Pakistan until Afridi is released from jail’.

The Mitt Romney Lie about who’s lying #63 – ‘EXCLUSIVE – Romney on Debates: Obama Will ‘Say Things That Aren’t True’

“I think the challenge that I’ll have in the debate is that the president tends to, how shall I say it, to say things that aren’t true,” Romney said’.

‘Romney’s Adviser Complains About Company’s High Taxes — But It Pays Just 2.2 Percent’

‘In his prepared testimony, Hamm defends tax breaks by pointing to his own company, saying, “Continental’s effective tax rate is 38%!”

This is the ‘America’ Mitt Romney will help.

Oh Wait! That’s right!

He’s a ‘job creator’.

‘In a congressional hearing Thursday, Continental Resources CEO and Mitt Romney’s chief energy adviser Harold Hamm asked to preserve the oil industry’s billions in tax breaks’.

‘In his prepared testimony, Hamm defends tax breaks by pointing to his own company, saying, “Continental’s effective tax rate is 38%!” But according to Citizens for Tax Justice, Continental paid an average 2.2 percent tax rate, or $40 million, over five years’.

‘While oil executives complain that they are “the highest taxed industry,” in reality, the two most profitable oil corporations pay less taxes than the average American. Hamm stands to financially benefit from Romney’s policies, which preserves tax breaks for oil companies and may even allow drilling in national parks’.

Weekly 2012 – Obama’s ‘coat tails’ and Romney’s AA problem

I got a lot of messages saying that I was crazy for sugesting that Obama could have the ‘coat tail’ effect. Democtrats getting elected over Republicans by the simple ‘law of accumlative effect’. Or more simply put – ‘bandwagon’.

No it’s not crazy.

Is Mitt Romney running to help America? Or just to pad his resume?

The more he talks it’s easy to see he’s just running to make Mitt Romney look good.

The ‘pundits’ out there keep saying that there are only a few million voters that will decide between Obama and Romney. Not so. I think that there are as many as 30% of the voters that have chosen but will flip IF someone does something stupid.
Say like when Americans are attacked over seas and they attack the President first instead of honoring the dead.

There is a lot in play but by the end of next week, President Obama could well have a 10% to 13% lead over Romney.

The other thing the ‘pundit’s like to cite is the ‘Republican brand’.
Far too many think that the extreme faction of the Republican Party is hurting Romney.
But Romney is catering to them.
So it is actually Mitt Romney, catering to the minority, that is hurting the ‘Republican brand’.
And THAT will lead to the ‘coat tails’ for the Democrats.

Mitt Romney’s AA problem. Arrogant asshole.

Several months ago when I said Obama would win but NOT because of the economy – I said because people really don’t like Mitt Romney. And almost everytime he talks he makes that worse.
So when people say will he will come back in the debates I say – not unless he can figure out how to answer without talking.

Mitt Romney chose a path that people will vote for him because they don’t like Obama.
It turns out people like Mitt Romney less. ‘
And with ABSOLUTELY NO details in policy?
The ‘referendum’ was clear.

Obama DOES have details and IS likeable.

The election for Mitt Romney is over.
Now all we have to do is to see how much damage he will do to our political process by clinging to the extreme faction of the Republican Party instead of trying to offer actual Conservative policies.
How fast and far will the Koch brothers and Karl Rove run away and how far and fast will other Republicans run – trying to distance themselves from the Romeny and extreme minority Republicans train werck?

But it’s NOT Republican Obstructionism – ‘Kansas Goes Birther: State Board Considers Removing Obama From Ballot’

Come on America!

We need to get behind this ‘new’ Republican Party.

The one where THEY will decide who was born in America!

‘Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, an informal advisor to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, said on Thursday he and his fellow members of a state board were considering removing President Barack Obama from the Kansas ballot this November’.

‘Kobach is part of the State Objections Board along with Attorney General Derek Schmidt and Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer, all Republicans. The Topeka Capital-Journal reported that on Thursday the board agreed consider whether to take Obama off the ballot because they said they lacked sufficient evidence about his birth certificate’.

“I don’t think it’s a frivolous objection,” Kobach said, according to the Capital-Journal. “I do think the factual record could be supplemented.”

‘The board is looking at a complaint filed by Joe Montgomery, of Manhattan, Kan., who claimed the Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen and so is ineligible to be president. The man appears to be part of a group of conspiracy theorists known as “birthers,” who deny Obama’s birth certificate is real’.

“A ‘frivolous’ argument, in legal terms, is one that cannot reasonably be made under any circumstances,” Kobach wrote. “The objection passed that very low threshold, which is not saying much.”

‘The board will send records requests to Hawaii, Arizona and Mississippi for more documentation of Obama’s birth. They plan to meet again on Monday to discuss the matter. Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett questioned Obama’s birth certificate earlier this year and also briefly considered removing him from the ballot’.
