Mitt Romney Lies #28 Thanks To Ron Paul – ‘Mitt Romney – A Man Without A Plan (VIDEO)’

‘By Kimberley Johnson’
‘Kimberley A. Johnson is an author and The Spokeswoman for Rock The Slut Vote, an organization standing up and fighting the war on women’.

Yep. Ron Paul AND these lies only cover up until January 2011!!

‘Ironically, the video is an advertisement for Ron Paul but you don’t realize it until the very end. It was uploaded to Youtube in January 2011’.

‘This video is a little over six minutes of Mitt Romney flip-flopping. Quite a bit of footage in a condensed period of time and it successfully shows that this man running for president—this man who wants you to trust him with your future—has no plan. He’s pro-life, he’s pro-choice. He’s against the auto bailout until Obama proved that the bailout was the right thing to do; Romney then wants credit for the success of it. He creates the model for the new health care plan. When Obama put forth the very same plan, Romney promises to repeal it’.

““Americans need to ask themselves: why does an American businessman need a Swiss bank account and secretive investments like that?”

If, and that’s a real long shot but will depend on how hard the teabagger Republicans push back on more spending cuts this September, the Democrats win back the House, I’d like to see Wasserman rather then Pelosi as Speaker.

‘Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Sunday demanded that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney release more than one year of tax records, citing “secretive investments” and a “Swiss bank account.”

“I’d really like to see Mitt Romney release more than one year of tax records because there’s been disturbing reports recently that he’s got a … secretive Bermuda corporation that no one knows anything about, investment in the Caymans … he’s got a Swiss bank account,” the Democratic National Committee chairwoman said on “Fox News Sunday.”

‘Obama ad calls for Romney to release more tax returns’

I was watching MSNBC’s Morning Joe and saw Obama campaign advisor Robert Gibbs ‘school’ Romney campaign advisor Dan Senor on Romney disclosing more tax returns.

See : ‘Robert Gibbs, Dan Senor duke it out on disclosure’

Raw Story has the best vedio I’ve seen so far.

Gibbs did a FANTASTIC job to the point where all Senor could say was Romney’s tax (lack of) returns was a ‘distraction’.

A ‘Conservative’ vision for America – ‘PA City Defies Court Order; Reduces Police Officers, Firefighters’ Pay To Minimum Wage’

Your home and safety are worth $7.25 a hour in Scranton. PA.

Would YOU run into a burning house for $7.25 an hour?

How about stopping an armed robber holding hostages?

It takes a very special person to protect our homes and lives. And while ‘public service’ actually means something to those people unlike most of our elected officials, a ‘public servant’ needs a living wage.

How many of these people will just leave and go into the private sector?

Turning police and firefighters from the ‘best there is’ into the ‘ best we can afford’.

‘Despite 14 Straight Months Of Public Job Loss, Republicans Continue To Block Obama’s Jobs Plan’
‘The plan includes $35 billion in direct state aid infusion that will “prevent up to 280,000 layoffs of teachers, who are — along with cops and firefighters — particularly vulnerable to local government budget shortfalls.”

‘However, Republicans continue to block Obama’s much-needed plan because, in part, they see public job loss as a positive. As Yglesias points out, “this shrinkage is exactly what conservatives claim to believe will spark growth once they bring the era of Kenyan Anticolonialism to an end.”

‘While there are some Americans who like the idea of a smaller government, Republicans blatant willingness to fire even the most essential public servants for the sake of decreasing “the number of people who work for the government” reflects the true price of Republican ideology’.

‘Ignoring a federal judge’s injunction, Scranton, Pennsylvania moved ahead with its plan to reduce the pay of city workers to the federal minimum wage starting Friday. Scranton Mayor Chris Doherty claims the city is broke and that the minimum wage payments are all it can possibly pay, the Scranton Times Tribune reports’:

‘Amid Scranton’s ever-deepening financial crisis, Mayor Chris Doherty said his administration is going forward with a plan to unilaterally slash the pay of 398 workers to the federal minimum of $7.25 an hour with today’s payroll, insisting it is all the city can afford’.

‘Many of those workers are police officers, firefighters, and other public safety workers, industries that have been slammed by contractions in state and local budgets since the Great Recession. Congressional Republicans repeatedly blocked efforts to extend aid to the states that would have helped shore up their budgets and keep these workers on payroll’.

Mitt Romney Lies #27 – ‘Don’t Forget About That Other Curious Romney Account’

Misinformation. Disinformation. Lies. Hiding from questions.

I’m guessing us ‘poor, uneducated’ people won’t understand this.

It’s acutally pretty easy.

We, poor and uneducated, live by one set of rules.

The ‘engines of the economy’, live by another.

‘Questions have persisted for months about an individual retirement account held by the Romneys valued at upwards of $100 million —

$100 MILLION –

‘a stunning amount for a savings vehicle designed to provide middle class retirees comfortable, but non-lavish retirement’.

‘His IRA raises two key questions, both of which his campaign has consistently declined to answer: How, despite a $6000 legal limit on annual contributions to an IRA, did Romney’s IRA grow to over $100 million? And did he avoid any U.S. taxes on its enormous returns’?

‘“[A]n Internal Revenue Service loophole … allows investors to undervalue interests in investment partnerships when first putting them into an IRA,” Reuters reported. “These assets can produce returns far in excess of those that could be generated from other investments made at the capped level. An investor could even set an initial value for a partnership interest at zero dollars, because under tax regulations an interest in a partnership represents future income, not current value.”

A ‘Conservative’ vision for America – ” I just think if you’re lower income — one, you’re not as educated, two, they don’t understand how it works”.

There is a difference between ‘education’ and ‘understanding’.

For those who don’t understand the difference, no matter how much of the former you have, you’ll never comprehend the later.

Yes us poor, uneducated people rely on those who, because they are so kind and generous, are the ‘engine of the economy’.

Now where are those jobs?

‘The evening fundraiser at the estate of Julia and David Koch on Meadow Lane in Southampton, the suggested contribution was $75,000 per couple’.

EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – ‘As protesters assembled on a beach in advance of Mitt Romney’s evening event at the home of conservative billionaire David Koch, the candidate slipped to East Hampton for his first of three fundraisers on this tony stretch of Long Island’.

‘A New York City donor a few cars back, who also would not give her name, said Romney needed to do a better job connecting. “I don’t think the common person is getting it,” she said from the passenger seat of a Range Rover stamped with East Hampton beach permits. “Nobody understands why Obama is hurting them’.

“We’ve got the message,” she added. “But my college kid, the baby sitters, the nails ladies — everybody who’s got the right to vote — they don’t understand what’s going on. I just think if you’re lower income — one, you’re not as educated, two, they don’t understand how it works, they don’t understand how the systems work, they don’t understand the impact.”

‘Among Perelman’s guests at the buffet lunch, which was topped off with chocolate mint cupcakes, were the Zambrellis of New York City, independent voters who attended a fundraiser for Obama four years ago’.

‘Sharon Zambrelli voted for Obama in 2008 but has been disappointed with his handling of the economy and leadership style. “I was very disenchanted with the political process and he gave me hope,” she said, but ultimately: “He’s just a politician,” she said, an “emperor with no clothes.”

‘The Zambrellis scoffed at attempts by the Democrats — who mocked Romney in an ad Sunday as “great for oil billionaires, bad for the middle class” — to wage class warfare. “Would you like to hear about the fundraisers I went to for him?” Sharon Zambrelli said of Obama. “Do you have an hour? … All the ones in the city — it was all of Wall Street.”

“It’s not helping the economy to pit the people who are the engine of the economy against the people who rely on that engine,” Michael Zambrelli said’.

‘Austerity drags down UK economy, again’

The Republicans battle cry of ‘cut spending, cut taxes’.

Be careful what you ask for……………

‘The example that the GOP would rather not talk about (though they loved talking about it in the early days) is the UK. It’s the classic assault on the middle class and poor that many on the right want to implement in the US. Cut services, increase school fees, privatize and hand over to friends and slash budgets for proper regulation so that the 1% can continue to abuse the system’.

‘How’s it all working out for the UK’?

‘If you consider rapidly rising unemployment, Wild West banking and bleak economic outlook good, they things are great’.
