When did we become commies, marxists, socialists?
Aren’t we all Americans?
But therein lies the problem. When a Vice Presidental candidate in speech after speech simply to promote herself, calls only those who believe as she does, ‘real’ Americans, the die is cast. The new road taken.
We can’t even attempt to solve our problems because we are too engrossed in ideology rather then policies.
They gave us a Republic. One Nation.
And on the brink of economic collaspe, some would rather blame or promote themselves rather then work together.
No compromise? Or do we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
‘There has been a propaganda video titled “AGENDA, Grinding America Down” that the Tea Party has been using all over the nation to spread falsehoods and fear about President Barack Obama, and the liberal voice of progress and change. This video is telling people that the progress made since the 1960’s is a bad thing, and that we are falling further and further away from what it means to be a decent American and live by the “morals” that we are supposedly meant to follow’.

‘Grinding America Down’
‘There’s something so deliciously ironic, so perfectly just in this. The Southern Poverty Law Center reports that Rush Limbaugh has a new sponsor anxious to buy up lots of ad space on his show: Westboro Baptist Church. Is there anything more delicious than the idea of the haters advertising on the hater’s show’?
‘Premiere Networks has released a statement saying they will not accept any ads from the group. Who knew they had standards of what Limbaugh maligns as “political correctness.”

‘In an article that would appear to be a poorly-executed parody of Texas Senate candidate Ted Cruz’s (R) right-wing beliefs if Cruz had not posted it on his own website, the Tea Party stalwart touts a truly ridiculous conspiracy theory’.
‘In 1992, the United Nations adopted Agenda 21 to “achieve a more efficient and equitable world economy,” outlining a process to eliminate environmental decay and social injustice through micromanaging industries, communities, and culture’.
‘The originator of this grand scheme is George Soros, who candidly supports socialism and believes that global development must progress through eliminating national sovereignty and private property’.
‘Agenda 21 attempts to abolish “unsustainable” environments, including golf courses. It hopes to leave mother earth’s surface unscratched by mankind. . . . Agenda 21 subverts liberty, our property rights, and our sovereignty’.
‘In reality, Agenda 21 is a twenty year-old non-binding resolution which speaks largely at a very high level of generality about reducing poverty and building sustainable living environments. The United States is one of 178 nations that signed onto this non-binding agenda — and we did so during the Bush Administration’.
‘Two decades after Agenda 21 was produced, Ted Cruz himself is still allowed to sell golf shirts on his website with minimal intrusion from UN peacekeepers’.

I’m not too big on ‘Big Brother’ watching me. It frankly would be a great waste of ‘Big Brother’ TO watch me and while wasting it’s time watching me, ‘Big Brother’ would have less time watching those it SHOULD be watching.
And as conspiracys go, also not a big believer here. But a lot of links in this story and it fits well into the ‘but what have you done for me lately’ as to intelligence agencies.
‘Total Information Awareness’ surveillance program returns, bigger than ever’
‘A new feature story in this month’s Wired blows the lid off plans for a massive new National Security Agency data center in Utah that represents the resurrection of a program that Congress killed in 2003, known as “Total Information Awareness,” targeting literally all electronic communications all over the world — including those made by American citizens.

‘The Court will hear argument in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act cases on March 26, 27, and 28. Because of the extraordinary public interest in those cases, the Court will provide the audio recordings and transcripts of the oral arguments on an expedited basis through the Court’s Website’.

I, some time ago, got to the point when a member of Congress introduced legislation or offered support for same, wanted to know FOR MYSELF the costs/benefit and actual language of legislation.
After all, the very people proposing all this legislation that will ‘fix’ our problems are the very ones who voted for the legislation that got us into the mess we are already in.
The old ‘fool me once, shame on you, keep trying to fool me, why do we keep re-electing you’ saying.
So I use http://thomas.loc.gov/home/thomas.php A LOT and look for opposition and what FACTS they have to offer in a counter arguement.
Health care is not a ‘right’ but it is an obligation of and for a healthy society. We keep playing around at the edges, thinking each new ‘plan’ will somehow ‘solve’ all our problems rather the just taking heath care as a whole and saying – this is it. Health care WILL NOT be based on income but ONLY on need of care.
The single-payer health plan with options for independent insurance if someone wants it.
‘A group of Senate Republicans has introduced legislation that would end traditional Medicare and sign seniors up for the same private healthcare plans received by members of Congress’.
‘The “Congressional Health Care for Seniors Act” would allow seniors to choose from the array of plans currently offered to the four million federal employees and their dependents in the Federal Employee Health Benefit program, starting in 2014′.
“Our goal is to save Medicare from bankruptcy and ensure seniors have affordable, high-quality health care’, Senator Lindsey Graham said.
“Allowing seniors access to the Federal Employee Health Benefit (FEHB) program, which members of Congress and federal employees use, will give them more choices and lower their out-of-pocket costs.”
The ‘benefits –
• slash the deficit by $1 trillion over the first 10 years and reduce Medicare’s 75-year unfunded obligation by almost $16 trillion;
• offer seniors “richer benefits, higher quality health care, and better access to doctors and providers” while cutting their premiums to $1,900 per year — less than the $3,500 seniors currently pay for Medicare benefits and supplemental insurance, or Medigap;
• charge seniors the same premium regardless of their health status or pre-existing conditions;
• subsidize three-quarters of the cost of the average plan while offering additional premium assistance and cost-sharing through the Medicaid program for low-income seniors;
• cap total out-of-pocket costs; and
• create a new high-risk pool for the highest-cost patients within the FEHB program.
And the ‘well I suppose we should also mention –
‘Indeed, as soon as the bill was unveiled the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association expressed concerns that the bill would destabilize the federal workers’ program’.
“This is a kill-two-birds-with-one-stone kind of proposal that would both bring down Medicare as we know it and threaten the stability of the FEHBP,” said association president Joseph Beaudoin. “As for the senators’ notion that America’s seniors should be in the same health care system as America’s elected officials, they seem to have forgotten that starting in 2014, members of Congress will no longer be covered by the FEHBP but will be in state-based health care exchanges.”
